I may be a recent convert, but as of April this year I am a huge fan of maxi dresses! They’re comfy but still look great. You can dress them up or down. They’re great to wear whatever the weather. You can slip on flats, heels or boots with them and they’ll all look great. They’re versatile and I love them.
A good maxi-dress should be a staple in every Affordably Fashionable woman’s wardrobe, so here are 4 on-trend maxi dresses that are so affordable, you should probably buy them all…
The Trend: Velvet, Velvet, Velvet
Velvet has been huge so far this year and that is not going away as we head into Autumn/ Winter, in fact you’re probably going to be seeing even more of it! During fashion week it rocked on the Prada, Gucci and Fendi runways but BooHoo offer a slightly more economical alternative that’s just as classy.
The Trend: Sheer and Sequins
If you’ve ever felt an urge to dress like the night sky then now is your chance. Before anything else, lets just take a moment to appreciate how much of a princess you would feel in one of these Alexander McQueen dresses. Right? RIGHT?!
Ugh. I want. But if they’re a little out of your price range then don’t worry, yet again BooHoo has the answer with this gorgeous maxi that’s straight out of a fairy tale.
The Trend: Emphasizing Your Waist
We saw it with Prada’s cotton, corset belts and with Loewe’s gold-plated waist-cinching belt. This season it’s all about showing off your super-feminine figure and curves! Luckily there’s some easy ways to do that. For a start try Missguided’s Pink Kimono dress which ties at the waist to really emphasize your curves.
Or if you’re looking for something a little more casual you could try New Look’s Paisley maxi with it’s cute little black waist-line!
