Outfit of the Day: Blue Patterned Dress

This Sunday I decided to pamper myself a little with a charcoal face mask before making a new eye makeup tutorial (the video for which will be up soon!). I decided that as I went for a nice gold and red eyeshadow and dark red lipstick, I’d go for a little contrast in my outfit by choosing one of my favourite navy blue dresses.

Big patterned prints were big this Spring / Summer and the trend is continuing into Autumn / Winter with eccentric vintage-style prints:

I love this dress because it’s so wearable but has all the charm of the best prints from SS16 and AW16:

Plus, can we just talk about how I managed to get it from Primark for just £10! Amazing value, so comfy, fits great (I’m wearing a size 6) and it’s flows brilliantly when you spin!

I usually dress it down for day-to-day wear with my brown knee-high boots but today I went for something a little more fancy with some black heels from New Look. Even they were only around £20.

My most expensive item was the gorgeous coat I wore with it because it is coming up to winter after all! (Waahhh!) It was £80 from H & M (but with a 20% student discount off!) and is the warmest, cosiest, classiest winter coat!

I absolutely love it! Again, I’m wearing a size 6 and the fit in gorgeous, especialy in the back.

Also, huge thank you to Danny for taking the photos and making me feel so comfortable in front of the camera – a place I usually hate to be! He even managed to make me look a little less awkward than usual.
