Purple OOTD – A Pop of Colour in Winter

Today I was feeling a little down but there’s nothing to cheer you up like putting on one of your favourite dresses and eating lots of sweets, so that’s exactly what I did! I guess Dan helped too… 😉

This beauty is my gorgeous purple, patterned Banana Republic dress which I managed to get from one of their outlet stores near New York for just $18 – huge thanks to Sarah-Jane and Charlotte who got it for me! ❤ ❤ ❤

It’s easily one of my favourite dresses ever. It’s so pretty and feminine but also comfy and easy to wear. I don’t know much about American sizes but I got the XS and it fits pretty great – having the tie at the waist really helps give it a gorgeous shape.

I paired it with my gorgeous pale pink shoes (which I spoke about in this blog post) because I wanted something pretty and feminine, but not something which would take attention away from the dress.

I also wore my lovely military-style H&M coat and some lovely thick, black tights from Primark because it was seriously chilly today!

The bag is my current go-to handbag; a little faux-leather grey bag from Primark which only cost me £10 and goes with literally EVERYTHING. It’s perfect!

How would you have styled this dress?
