Valentine’s Day Outfit and Makeup

Me and Danny are having a quiet date night for Valentine’s this year but it’s still a good excuse to dress up and feel pretty!

I went for a simple outfit and a classic makeup look with completely natural hair.

I absolutely love skinny jeans because they’re so comfy and look great but you can also wear them with anything. It’s so easy to dress them up or down depending on where you’ll be going! This pair are a dark blue, high-waisted pair in size 6 from H&M. I’m pretty sure I managed to pick them up for around £10 or so.

The black lace top is a bit of an old one but a favourite of mine because again, it’s cosy but looks so pretty!

And to add a pop of colour I chose a cute pink handbag – this little beauty I picked up from Primark just this weekend for £5. With it’s bold edges and geometric lines it definitely channels the 80s trend which is going to continue to be big in 2017, but with a slightly classier feel.

I’ll be talking about the makeup in more detail in my next blog post where I’ll be writing a tutorial for this look, but for now, here’s a little preview of it close up:

As for the rest of Valentine’s Day: Danny came home and surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet of red roses, I gave him Star Wars lego and a new stuffed animal – a little tiger names Tiggs. We spent the entire evening together, treating ourselves to a takeaway, watching films and stuffing ourselves with some amazing white chocolate and strawberry truffles. Perfect. I couldn’t ask for a more amazing boy. ♥

Hope everyone else had an amazing Valentine’s Day – let me know how you spent it down in the comments! 🙂
